On Wednesday after midnight, The Wills Magnifier released its first article, announcing its first steps into the web, written by founder, Brennan Wills.

The Wills Magnifier began as an inspiration from Wills's award-winning journalism professor as well as, "Fraudcast News," an episode from long-running sitcom The Simpsons.

Wills remains hopeful and optimistic that this adventure will be a success and a driving passion for years to come. "I only hope that I can serve the public good," Wills declared, "maintain a positive relationship with my readers (if I should develop any), and enjoy the pursuit of journalistic excellence."

In keeping with journalistic standards laid down by scholars and truth-seekers before him, The Wills Magnifier also attaches a link to the famed Code of Ethics of the Society of Professional Journalists. By doing this, The Magnifier hopes that it will commit itself to these principles in all its writing.

"Thank you for this opportunity," Wills concludes. "I hope this begins a long and fruitful journey."
